Become Naturally Pretty

There is nothing wrong with makeup or hair products, but so many women become dependent on them that they can't feel pretty without pounds of makeup or buckets of hair spray. This article will help you become more confident about how you look, and look beautiful without the help of so many cosmetics.

Steps

  1. Stop wearing makeup. Or wear makeup once every few weeks. The sound of this may make your stomach drop, but you really don't need makeup to look pretty. You just aren't used to how you look without makeup, so you think you're ugly, which you are not. No one in the world is ugly, because beauty is relative. Wearing makeup (especially concealer)closes up the pores, and doesn't allow it to 'breathe'. Wearing makeup may make your eyes pop, or your cheeks slightly pink, but as you get older, the makeup will damage your face and give you wrinkles earlier in life.
  2. Develop a good skin care routine that works for you. Everyone is different. Some people may need to wash their face twice a day, or once, or once every few days. Do whatever works best for you. Exfoliate and use a mask on your skin once a week. Be gentle. And use an SPF on your skin before you go outside. I would recommend something like Cetaphil face lotion or Eucerin face lotion with the SPF, because they aren't greasy and they make your skin soft and supple.
  3. Eat right. Eating right will help you get a natural glow. Eat lots of hot and cold veggies, fruits, and the right amount of meat. Don't go over proportions with food. Pay attention to proportion size, because you don't want to overeat.
  4. Drink water. You need about 6-8 glasses per day. It helps flush toxins out of your skin.
  5. Exercise. It's good for your body and can sometimes make you feel- and look- years younger.
  6. Get enough sleep. Your body needs sleep. Most people don't get enough, and not only will not getting enough sleep make you feel more tired and less alert during the day, but it can have premature aging affects.
  7. Don't use a lot heat on your hair. Buy a shampoo, use it, sleep on your hair and brush it out the next day. You can use a little heat to style it, but don't go overboard.
  8. Develop a positive attitude. Your outlook on life can affect your mood, and can improve your overall health and beauty.
  9. Just be you. Be happy and yourself, do things that make you happy. MOST people don't judge how you look anyway. You're beautiful just being yourself. Treat people how you want to be treated. Inner beauty is the most important thing of all.

Tips

  • Wear lip balm-it gives you soft lips which adds natural beauty.
  • Wash your face after you did sports; the sweat will give you pimples.
  • Make sure your nails are always cleaned up. Put a little clear nail polish for a healthy look.
  • Make sure you use the right shampoo and conditioner for your hair. If you have oily hair, try shampoo for oily hair or normal hair. Only put conditioner on the ends, too.
  • Do not go to sleep with wet hair. Sleeping with wet hair is the easiest way to create a frizzy mess.
  • Just because she's pretty doesn't mean you are not.
  • A little nail polish or clear lip gloss might not be all that bad, either.
  • Inner beauty is more important than outer beauty!
  • Practice hygiene. It really helps. Take showers, brush your teeth, floss, use deodorant, body spray, etc.
  • Try to have a good body, by exercising about an hour a day, and eating healthy food,, and drinking water. A good body can make any outfit look swell on you.
  • Try not to bite your nails because if gets to be a habit then they would not look that pretty.
  • Be awake and give yourself a mini eye lift by putting two spoons in a freezer for about ten minutes. After that, place them against your eyes (carefully, so you don't damage your eyes) and wait until the spoon returns to a normal temperature.
  • Stay positive. Use a nice cleansing lotion for you skin. Take a shower everyday so you stay fresh and wash your hair really good to get all dirt or and oil out of it, it will help! Hygiene is beauty in today's society.
  • Sleeping really helps. Putting on relaxing music before you go to bed is a great help and so is reading a book. Baths also help before you go to bed because it relaxes you.

Warnings

  • Just because you're cutting down on products you use, personal care shouldn't completely go. Remember to shower, brush your teeth, wash your face, and brush your hair.
