Blow a Soap Bubble

Blowing bubbles is really fun and easy! You can buy the solution that is already made or you can make it yourself.

Steps

  1. Wet your hands just as if you were washing them, but don't dry them just yet.
  2. Apply some soap to your hands and rub your hands together, trying to get the soap spread out evenly all over your hands.
  3. Make a loop (an O) with your thumb and pointer finger.
  4. Close this "loop" and open it again.
  5. If you did it right you'll see a thin film of a bubble forming. Blow softly and you'll have yourself a soap bubble!

Tips

  • Blow softly or it may not work.
  • If you run out, you can make the solution with water and dish soap, but it may not be as successful.
  • Shampoo works better than bar soap for this. Though bars of soap still work.
  • Different bubbles arise from different soaps. Some bubbles might be small, or some might be huge but not even "leave" your hand before popping.
  • If you make your other hand soapy, then you can put your fingers inside the bubble.

Warnings

  • Some of the solution can get in your eyes and may burn!
