Build a Snail Stable


Ever wanted to own a racehorse but you lack for space and funds? A super snail might be a little more practical. Build a home for your new little pet!

Steps

  1. Find a good rectangular box; it can be cardboard or plastic.
  2. Cut out cards for small stable doors. They should be big enough for your snail to get through the door.
  3. Cut out some more cardboard and make them into separate stalls.
  4. Glue or stick them together. Make sure it is eco friendly glue and it doesn’t have any chemicals in it that could hurt the snails.
  5. Paint in your stable's colors and your logo.
  6. Put cling film or grease proof paper on the top to keep moisture out.

Tips

  • Use thick cardboard.
  • You could try net instead of cardboard door for more air.
  • Use Popsicle sticks and toothpicks to make a more horse stable affect.
  • Also use safe paint for the snails,toxic paint will make them sick.

Warnings

  • If you use cardboard, you many have to make another soon as they don't last that long.
  • Tell your parents about these snails or they might find themselves in snail heaven.
  • Snails may eat the cardboard.
