Change Your Facebook Password
You may want to change your Facebook password because you're worried that someone else has been accessing your account. Even if that isn't the case, it's a good idea to change your password from time to time to stay protected. If you want to know how to change your password in just a few easy steps, follow along.
Steps
- Log in to your Facebook page. Just type in your email address and password and click "Sign in."
- This method will explain and illustrate each step of:
Facebook Settings>Password>Edit>Save Changes
- Click on the Settings gear on the top right corner of your home page. This will bring up a drop-down menu then select "Settings".
- Click the "Edit" button to the right of the "Password" option. This will allow you to edit your current password. You'll also be reminded whether or not you have ever changed your password before.
- Type your current password and then type your new password in the appropriate box provided.
- Click "Save Changes". You can find this button just below the other boxes. This will complete the process of changing your password on Facebook.
