Change the Icon of Google Chrome
As Google Chrome released its new version, it's old but quite snazzy and 3D icon was gone. All of Google Chrome's fans, loved that icon but it was no more there, but instead there was the new simple and 2D icon. This tutorial will teach you to how to change the new icon to the old icon of Google Chrome again.
Steps
- If you don't have a Google Chrome shortcut on your desktop, make one by right-clicking the Google Chrome and selecting Send to --> Desktop.
- Download the old 3D Google Chrome by writing 'Old Google Chrome icon' in the Google image search.
- Go to the desktop and right-click Google Chrome icon.
- Choose Properties.
- Click Change Icon.
- Click Browse and select the icon which you downloaded recently. Most of the times the items you download go to the Downloads folder in My Documents.
- Click OK.
- Click Apply and close the window.
- Now refresh the desktop and view the old 3D icon of Google Chrome.
Tips
- If you use Outlook.com or Hotmail as your web email program you can pin the People webapp to the start screen. It is more fully featured than the People app that comes with Windows 8.
