- Rub your hands together.
- Wait for thirty seconds.
- Wash the peanut butter and pitch off with water.
Using Other Solutions
- Prepare a solution to use. This can simply be olive oil or rubbing alcohol, or you can mix together salt, warm water, and a few drops of honey. </b>
- Wet a paper or cloth towel thoroughly with the cleaning solution you chose.
- Wipe and scrub the solution onto the pine pitch. Make sure to thoroughly wet it.
- Wait about 5 minutes. Reapply the solution as needed to keep the affected area covered and damp.
- Wash the cleaning solution off with regular soap. The pine pitch will come right off.
- Congratulate yourself! You are now 100% clean!
Tips
- The peanut butter method is a fun way to do it, and would be a better method to use with kids.
- Some skin care products, like Noxzema cleansing pads, will clean almost anything off your skin, including pine pitch. This method works a lot faster than using rubbing alcohol, and it is a whole lot better for your skin.
- Liquid hand sanitizer works like magic when used with a cloth!
