Copy a PSP UMD
You have a UMD but your friend does not have that? You want to play multiplayer with him but you can't? Read this article and you will be able to.
Steps
- Your PSP must have Custom Firmware (CFW)
- Press the SELECT button
- A menu titled VSH menu will appear
- Go to USB device and choose UMD
- Connect to the computer with USB cable
- Open your usual PSP folder in 'My Computer'. You should see a ISO file titled 'UMD9660'
- Copy it to the desired place. Put it in your PSP.
Tips
- The PSP MUST be CFW
- If the VSH menu does not open:
- Turn off your PSP by holding the power button for 4 seconds.
- Turn on the PSP while holding the 'R' button to access recovery mode.
- Select 'Configuration' and press 'X'
- . Scroll down to 'XMB USB Device' and press 'X' until you see "UMD Disc" (It scrolls through 'Memory stick -> Flash 0 -> Flash 1 -> Flash 2 -> Flash 3 -> UMD Disc)
- Scroll up to the 'back' option and press 'X'
- Scroll to the 'Exit' option and press 'X', the PSP will load the XMB menu.
- Scroll up to the 'back' option and press 'X'
- . Scroll down to 'XMB USB Device' and press 'X' until you see "UMD Disc" (It scrolls through 'Memory stick -> Flash 0 -> Flash 1 -> Flash 2 -> Flash 3 -> UMD Disc)
- Select 'Configuration' and press 'X'
- Turn on the PSP while holding the 'R' button to access recovery mode.
- Turn off your PSP by holding the power button for 4 seconds.
- You have to have a Memory Stick
- Only a USB cable will do
