Create a Custom URL on LinkedIn
This article teaches you how to customize the URL of your LinkedIn profile.

Steps
- Go to https://www.linkedin.com in a web browser. You can use any web browser on your computer to access LinkedIn, such as Chrome or Safari.
- If you aren’t already signed in to LinkedIn, type your email address and password into the blanks and click Sign In.
- Click Me. It’s in the blue bar at the top of LinkedIn.
- Click View Profile.
- Click Edit your public profile. It’s in the menu on the right side of the screen.
- Click the Edit icon next to your public profile URL. It’s at the top of the right column and looks like a pencil.
- Enter a new URL. You can only change the last part (the part that comes after www.linkedin.com/) of the URL.
- For example, if you typed “wikihow,” your new custom URL would be https://www.linkedin.com/wikihow.
- Click Save. Your custom URL is now active.
