Contents
Steps
- First, get a A3 size paper to use.
- Draw a battle arena, and your character in it.
- Give him/her a Rusty Sword and Wooden Shield to start off.
- Draw an enemy.
- Examples:
- Fire Hell Bat
- Gorilla-phant
- T-Rex
- Cyborg
- Examples:
- Make him fight: Let's say the Rusty Sword does 3-7 Dmg and your enemy does about 2-4 Dmg. Your character starts off with 100 HP, and your enemy has about 75 HP.
- When you win, you raise your EXP bar, and when it gets full, you level up.
- When you level up, you unlock a MP bar and a spell (E.G Fireball).
- You unlock more spells and special attacks when you level up.
- You could also add a town with a Weapon, Magic/Potion, Armour Shop, and a Hospital where you heal yourself.
- Also, you can set goals for yourself like saving a damsel in distress, saving a village or castle, etc.
- Every level you also gain 10 HP & MP.
Tips
- Every level you gain something:
- Level 2: Fireball (3-8 Dmg) & MP bar
- Level 3: Lighting (4-9 Dmg)
- Level 4: Hailstorm (5-10 Dmg)
- Level 5: Explosion (10-15 Dmg) & add another character on your team
- Level 10: Raining Blades (12-17 Dmg)
- Level 100: Meteor Blast (293-565 Dmg)
- Add more spells/specials if you want to.
- Also instead of using the attack points system, you can use dice.
- 1 & 6 are misses, 2, 3 & 4 are hits, and 5 is a critical hit.
- You could have a steed like a donkey, a dragon, or a dinosaur... whatever you like!
- Enemies can be anything from creepy cosmic beings, evil aliens, deadly dinosaurs, terrifying trolls... whatever you want!
- For different genres have different starting weapons:
- Sci-fi : Laser sword & Plasma Shield
- Western: Six-shooter & Lead Plate Armor
- Superhero: Super Strength & Super Durability
- If you want to, you can add traps to your RPG.

- You could make it that when an enemy dies you are able to loot his corpse/remains for whatever items he was carrying.
Warnings
- Avoid criticism and have fun, it's not what other people think about you that makes you who you are, it is what you think of you.
- This more a hack & slash, dungeon crawl type rpg rather than a real RPG, but it's fun!
- People will quite possibly think you are nuts, weird or a nerd.
