Create a Secret Club

Have you ever wanted to have a club? Well now you can! Just follow these easy steps to have a very great club and a successful friendship with your members.

Steps

  1. Find members. They can be your friends or they can be random people you tell about your club. Make sure they will fit in and will be ever loyal to your club. Make sure to mention the stuff you do and how much fun the club is. Tell them about your secret handshake and your secrets about your crushes and your best friend sleepovers.
  2. Make up rules. A good one is, "Don't tell anyone about the club because it is a secret." Another good rule is, "When you find a person who might fit in, do not tell them but discuss it at a meeting with all the other members of the club to figure out and judge them to see if they fit in."
  3. Find a regular meeting time and place. It could be at your house or it could be at your favorite restaurant it all depends on your choice. If you cannot afford a restaurant, just cook at home and engage your friends in this activity too.
  4. Once your club has started there will be many things that you will think of doing as a club. Maybe, a lemonade stand for charity. Make sure to wear things that match such as the color pink or a skirt.
  5. As soon as your club starts there will be many inside jokes and club things that you can laugh at when no one around knows what you are talking about. Maybe talk about your day,your secrets or your family.
  6. If you really don't want anyone to find out about it, make them give you something embarrassing and tell them if they ever tell anyone about the club you will show it to the whole school!
  7. Make membership cards. Be creative! Engage this as an activity and lay some stuff out.



Tips

  • Don't tell anybody about the club or else it won't be secret any more. Just tell the people who will be willing to keep a secret.
  • Make sure you can trust your members.
  • Make sure you don't tell everyone about it or it might not be so secret!
  • Give out special jobs to each member of the club so everyone feels involved.
  • Make a password or badges to identify each other.
  • Don't get all of your members at once start off small, then expand. If possible, get your members to inform other people, but make sure they don't tell them much.
  • Do not add a lot of members in the club or it will not be that secretive.
  • Ask other members of the club if you can invite someone else in before you actually invite them.
  • Make a secret signature on this email or on your phone such as "Hi yo-yo" or some random inside joke.
  • Make special necklaces or bracelets that your members will all put on everyday.
  • Make sure that your club members can keep a secret...
  • A secret is a secret — don't tell anyone.
  • Use Robert's Rules of Order to conduct your meetings.

Warnings

  • Do not invite very bossy or usurping people because they can over throw you and take over the club.
  • If you can't all agree on a leader, don't have a leader, it'll only start arguments. Instead, make important decisions together as a group so no-one feels left out.
  • Do make sure that no one finds out about your club.

  • A private place where no one goes. Make sure you tell some adult where you are at all times, and don't go somewhere too far from your home.

  • Amusing gadgets
  • Writing and designing materials
  • Snacks and drinks
  • Blankets, pillows anything comfortable for your friends.
