Start a Trench Coat Club

Do you consider yourself an outsider or think that you stand out from the crowd? Perhaps you just couldn't care less what people think of you and are sick of stuck-up people and their pointless cliques. Here's some steps for starting a Trench Coat Club.

Steps

  1. Start by wearing a long (knee-length or longer) trench coat. You can button it up or leave it open-either way works.
  2. Get together with some friends and convince them to adapt this look as well. Meet after school or in your spare time with your newly formed trench coat club.
  3. During meetings, talk about trench coats and wear your coats.

Tips

  • Walk fast so your coat swoops around you.
  • Don't care what people think!
  • Trench coats (especially really long ones) make great blankets if you get stuck somewhere you need to sleep and you don't have a blanket.
  • Be nice to people. Just because you have your own group, it doesn't mean you have to be mean.
  • Sew ball-bearings into the lining at the bottom of your coat for extra swoosh.

Warnings

  • Recognize that you are forming a clique, and are emphasizing the separation between you and the people who are not already in your clique. Don't become the evil that you are criticizing.
  • If something bad happens at your school, your group may be the one people look at.
  • You might be made fun of!
  • Don't be discriminatory and don't be negative or bully others for being different than your group.

Things You'll Need
