Cure a Masturbation Addiction Using a Journal Method

Masturbation is one of those things that both men and women experience many times in their life. It is something that is completely natural but when it comes to an addiction, it can get out of hand. But there is a simple way to cure a masturbation addiction- by using a journal method. It will take time, patience and a battle between one-self's temptation.

Steps

  1. Get a notebook or something to write on and something to write.
  2. Setup a journal and begin to track and record the amount of time you masturbate on a daily basis (Note, it must be on a daily basis).
  3. On the first day of your journal, masturbate how many times you would regularly do it and remember to setup no restrictions on this day.
  4. Right down the amount of times you masturbated on the first day.
  5. On the second day, decrease the number of times you masturbate by one and give yourself a number of 2 or maybe 3 days if necessary.
  6. Continue to repeat these steps until you reach the day you can only masturbate 1 time over a period of 2-3 days (Remember to write down in your journal and keep a record).
  7. After the day you can masturbate only 1 time, attempt to quit the masturbation addiction for good by allowing yourself not to masturbate over another 2-3 days.
  8. Once you finish that period of time, try to extend the time for a few more days.
  9. After that final step, you should be able to quit your addiction.

  • Do many activities that can keep you from masturbating
  • Remember to always keep a record and stay on track
  • Move away from positions that make you have the urges.
  • Try to keep away from anything that can arouse you sexually
  • If you cannot keep up with the routine, go see a specialist or get help from people you may know.
