Delete a Nintendo 3DS Friend Code

Did you add someone as a friend on your 3DS that you want to get rid of? Are they spamming you or harassing you over SpotPass? There's a way to delete them off your friend's list for good, and this article will show you how to do so.

Steps

  1. Turn on your 3DS.
  2. Launch the Friend List application.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Select Delete Friend Card.
  5. Choose the friend you want to delete.

Tips

  • Also, if the person you added scammed you, feel free to either, A. Keep them on your list and confront them or B. Delete them immediately.
  • Only do this if you're 100% sure you don't want this 3DS friend anymore. They won't get a notification that you did this, and you cannot re-add them unless you ask for their code and they add you as a friend again!
