Draw a Simple Dog's Face
This way of drawing a dog's face is easy. The ears are the hardest part but even they are not too hard. Put pencil to paper and give it a go. Use the illustration to guide your drawing - to make the drawing more entertaining, there is a visual imagery process accompanying the drawing instructions.
Steps
- Draw a stick person with no arms. Surround the person with bees (dots).
- Draw a circle around everything. The person fell in a pond.
- Add two "gravestones" above the pond to make eyes. Draw eyeballs inside the "gravestones".
- Start at one side of the circle and go up past the eyes and make an ear. Do the same on the other side. Another way to draw them is to draw a circle (pond) around everything that you've drawn. Then, just add two long ovals for the ears, and you're down. (Edited by Liliena)
- Add additional details like freckles and shading. Color to finish.
- Finished.
Tips
- Go slowly until you get the hang of it.
- Color lightly.
- Draw lightly at first, just barely dark enough to see, then go over it darker, until you are confident enough to finish in pen, marker, or crayon.
- If you mess up, try again.
- Have patience and don't rush.
