Dye Queen Anne's Lace Different Colors
Have you ever picked a Queen Anne's Lace flower, and wanted to do something special with it? This is a very simple process to dye the flower different colors.
Steps
- Pick as many Queen Anne's lace flowers you want. Cut off the roots, but leave a stem of at least {{safesubst:#invoke:convert|convert}}. Bring them inside.
- Take out your supplies (food coloring, water, and some sort of waterproof container). Pour in the water. You don't need much. But don't drown your flower!
- Add about 3-5 drops of food coloring.
- Leave your flower in its holder until it changes color. You don't need to take it out, because leaving it in will make it last longer.
- Enjoy! Feel free to experiment with different colors.
Tips
- Yellow doesn't work as well as the other colors.
Warnings
- Don't leave it at a place your pets or kids could knock it over (though if the color has already settled it won't affect it).
