Enable Basic HTML View for Gmail

Perhaps you can't access the standard view of Gmail because of your slow internet. Luckily, Gmail had a basic view for use on a slow internet connection.

Steps

1. Go to Gmail and sign in with your email address.
2. Change standard view to basic HTML view. For doing that, just click on the "Load basic HTML". Now Gmail will reload again in basic view.
3. Set the basic HTML view as your default if desired. Click on the "Set basic HTML as default view" option.
4. Directly access basic HTML view if you prefer. Go to https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/h/ to load basic HTML view.

Tips

• You can also use this feature on your phone to access full Gmail features.
