Enter a Web Page That Doesn't Open

Want to visit a website that has been taken down? This is a quick way to view archived versions of websites.

Steps

  1. Go to www.archive.org
  2. Type in the web address (URL) of the site you want to see.
  3. Click "Browse History".
  4. Use the year slider at the top of the page to select a date range, then click on any of the highlighted dates shown in blue - they indicate days on which the website was archived. Click the most recent date to see the website as it was most recently before being taken down.
