Get Rid of Bumps on Cartilage Piercing

Infection bumps on cartilage piercings are annoying, painful, and overall yucky and without the proper care can cause more serious problems.

Steps

  1. Crush up an aspirin tablet.
  2. Mix the aspirin powder with water. Make a paste.
  3. Apply the aspirin paste to the infection bump.
  4. Let the paste sit on the bump for about 30 minutes.
  5. Wash the paste off and clean your piercing with antibacterial soap.
  6. Clean your piercing with antibacterial soap and sea salt mixture (about a tsp. of sea salt with about a cup of water) daily.

Tips

  • Try not to touch your piercings too much.
  • If the paste doesn't work the first time, apply another batch.
  • Make sure to clean your jewelry and piercing daily.
  • Use a clean Q-tip to apply paste.
