Get Your Parents to Give You Money Without Earning It
Always needing money? Is your pocket money too low? Get a few extra dollars in that pocket, purse or wallet.
Steps
- Choose the right parent. The one who has the most money to spare, who doesn't give you any money, or who gives you the least. Chose the parent that you think is most likely to agree to this.
- Start the talk. Mention why you need more money, and make it a good excuse, while not a fake one. If you need it for a reason that they will not approve of, use the money for something else or that item along with what you want to use it for.
- If it isn't working, try again later, but don't ask constantly or tick them off. Sometimes, no means no. Well, only for now! Come back after some time, the longer the better. Maybe they were short on money the first time you asked them, or had a money-requiring emergency.
- Ask for a loan, and say that you will pay it back in a certain amount of time, like a couple of months. Sometimes they will forget and you will have what you wanted.
- Gain your parents' trust. Nothing compares to a parents trust to their child. Gain their trust, then hit them up for cash. If you do they will trust that you will do well with the cash given.
- Do tons of favors for your parents. They will most likely appreciate your doings. Then after you have spoiled them ask for a decent amount of cash. For starters ask for $10-$25, then as time progresses ask for more cash for instance $30-$40 dollars. Always tell them what you are going to use it for. If you think they won't approve of your reason, use it on something they will approve of!
Tips
- Ask kindly. Don't always keep asking or it may change their view about you.
- Be nice to them.
- Do household chores without being asked.
- Don't ask your parents all the time.
- Say that having more money can teach you more about responsibility, and once they deem you "responsible", you will get what you want!
- If you have cooking skills, try making them a meal for change.
- You could promise to pay them back with birthday or Christmas money.
