Have a Funky Style
Want to dress funky and stylish while adding your own personal touch to your wardrobe? Follow this guide!
Steps
- Chop off your hair. Shoulder-length or shorter is funky. Dye it colors that aren't natural, like purple, orange, blue, green, etc. Colorpulse by Loreal Paris is good for this. As is "fudge" because it temporary enabling you to change colour often.
- Buy some funky outfits, like short black tube dresses and pink converse high-tops. Buy lots of patches and buttons and pin stuff to your jeans or shirts. Sometimes, you'll find good deals at the dollar store for patches and pins. Get as many keychains as you can and put them with your house keys to add a funky feel.
- Wear lots of eyeliner on the top of your eyes and little eyeliner on the bottom, nude eyeshadow, foundation or bronzer and pink lipgloss. Nothing too dramatic.
- Buy a big pack of multi-colored sharpie markers and doodle on everything you own. Get your friends to sign your jeans and write funny stuff on them, and draw on your backpack or purse, etc.
- Buy some colorful, funky shoelaces with a design on them.
- Buy lots of rubber bracelets (sold everywhere from Hot Topic to Walmart to the dollar store) and wear the whole pack at a time.Even though it's not the thing now, it's your style.
- Buy some face glitter and wear it at the corner of your eyes. Be known for it. Don't go out in public until you're wearing your signature glitter.
- Buy some fishnet stockings. They are funky and hot. Wear them with a denim skirt and a T-shirt for a funky, casual look!
- Buy some colorful tights and cut up to the mid-calf, and you've got yourself a pair of leggings! Wear them with a giant T-shirt or a dress!
- Buy colorful, outrageous hair accessories. Colorful headbands, funky hair ties with tassels, etc.
- Wear earrings! Those ones with the rubber spikes are definitely funky.
- Plus, don't be put down by other people. Just be yourself!
- Make sure it is really your style. You don't want to look fake.

- Adjust to your taste.
- Don't be funky if it isn't your thing. Find the style that you like, not what other people like.
- A fun thing to do is to start a band with your friends. Name it something weird like the funky chickens, or fuzzy pink lamps or something odd. Play the kind of music you want, and make up a bunch of songs. Have concerts and have people pay $2 to come see you or something.
