How does vaccination help us?

Vaccination provides immunity to our body to fight disease. It causes the body to produce antibodies, which fight against antigens, the foreign substances like bacteria and virus. Vaccination uses killed or weakend germs which are harmless to us. These antigens or germs enter our body through an injection or an oral dose. Our body reacts against these antigens and produces antibodies.

This make the body ready to combat in case it is attacked by these antigens naturally. Sometimes, booster dose or further vaccination is required to provide continuing protection against vaccination.
