Locate Instruction Manuals for Older Kitchen Appliances

Lost your manual and looking to puree? Let your fingers do the walking through the Internet!

Steps

  1. Using Google, search for the manufacturer of the appliance you need the manuals for.
  2. Look for the specific manufacturer, not just a place where you can buy the item.
  3. Browse the manufacturer's site to see if they have manuals on line. If not, go to their "Contact us" page.
  4. Provide the company with the model number of the appliance and ask for a manual.

Tips

  • Don't give up! Older appliances made by companies no longer in business may still have manuals available. If the company does not have a website, check with companies that make a similar product.

Warnings

  • If the appliance is very old, be sure it is in safe working condition. A pressure cooker with a faulty seal is an accident waiting to happen.
