Machine Wash Your Teddy Bear

This article will teach you how to give your teddy bear a good, fresh wash.

Steps

  1. Remove any clothes or accessories currently on your bear.
  2. Spray all faux fur with a bear stain remover spray, and brush thoroughly. This spray is available at most stuffed animal stores and sells for about ten US dollars.
  3. Let sit for a few minutes.
  4. To ensure your bear is safe, wash them with clothes with similar colors (eg: You wouldn't want your fluffy white bear to become grey when pairing it with black articles, would you?) in a washer.
  5. Wash for about forty minutes or one hour.
  6. Brush before drying in a dryer, again with the clothes. Add a fabric softener sheet or two, to make your bear smell like it trampled in fresh, dew dropped flowers! Dry for thirty to forty minutes.
  7. Brush once more, and give your friend a new outfit to wear.
  8. Appreciate all the work you've done to make your bear smell, look, and feel fresh, pair that with a warm hug and you and your bear will be as happy as ever!

Tips

  • DO NOT USE HEAT WHEN DRYING FAUX FUR! IT WILL MELT!
  • Let the bear sit overnight before washing, in a pillowcase tied up with a rubber band.

Warnings

  • Never put bleach into the machine when washing your bear.
  • Don't injure your stuffed buddy!
