Make Broiled Bacon

Don't just eat it in the microwave. Try something new!

Ingredients

(desired number), sliced bacon

Steps

Pan Broiled

  1. Place bacon slices close together in hot skillet over medium heat.
  2. Turn bacon as it broils, and as fat accumulates, pour it off.
  3. Drain on absorbent paper before serving.

Oven Broiled

  1. Place bacon slices close together in shallow pan, and cook in moderate oven (350̊ F.), turning once, until brown.
  2. Drain on absorbent paper before serving.

Cooked on a Broiler

  1. Place bacon slices close together on rack in broiler pan.
  2. Place pan in oven with bacon inches from broiler unit.
  3. Broil for 2 minutes on one side.
  4. Turn, and broil for 2 minutes on the other side.

Tips

  • If cooking 8 slices of bacon, makes 4 servings.
