Make Brownies Using a Packet Mix

Using a pre-made brownie packet mixture is a very easy way to make brownies, especially if you are not that good at baking. If you'd like to know how to whip up a delicious batch of brownies using this method, then simply keep reading this article.

Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix
  • 2 eggs (or how much it says on the package)
  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) vegetable oil (or how much it says on the package)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) water (or how much it says on the package)

Steps

  1. Visit your local grocery store and look for a pre-made brownie mix. It usually comes in a box, and sometimes there are different varieties for you to choose from. Pick the kind that you'd like to make the most.
  2. Use a medium sized bowl and either a good stirring spoon or a whisk. Make sure that it's clean and there is no water left in the bowl.
  3. Pour the brownie mix into the bowl. Look on the back of the package and be sure to follow the instructions carefully. For most mixes, you will have to add your own ingredients, such as water, eggs, oil, etc. Once you are sure that you have followed all the instructions, mix it all up into a batter, using either the stirring spoon or the whisk.
  4. Pre-heat the oven to the temperature specified on the package. Be sure that you remove any pans that might be in the oven prior to pre-heating.
  5. Pour the entire bowl of brownie batter into a greased baking pan, using a spatula if needed. Choose a pan size from those listed on the back of the package.
  6. Bake brownies in the oven according to the instructions on the box of the mix. When they are done, let them cool for awhile. Cut the brownies into small squares using a pizza cutter, and serve.

Tips

  • This is not the only way to make brownies. If you or a friend know a recipe to make them from scratch, then feel free to try it.
  • Cover the bottom of the brownie pan with waxed or parchment paper. Using the paper as a sling, you can easily lift them out of the pan, after they have cooled.
  • If you don't happen to have a pizza cutter, then you can use a plastic knife instead to cut the brownies.
