Make Cheers
Have you ever gotten bored of the same old cheers for your cheerleading squad? With a little creativity, you can make exciting, pep-filled cheers for your squad! See Step 1 below to get started!
Steps
- Grab a pen and some paper and think about some rhyming words that describe your cheer team or the team you represent.
- Write them down. Be sure it makes sense and it's not too harmful to the other team.
- Don't use "Fight!" so much. Judges get tired of the old "Go, Fight, Win!"
- Say them out loud and hear how the rhythm is. You could add more to the cheer if you do this.
- Use them at your cheer tryout or if you're already on the team, show them to your coach and teach the other cheerleaders.
Tips
- Make it cheerful. After all, you are a cheerleader!
- Make it fun.
- If you get stuck ask a friend to help you, (even if they aren't a cheerleader).
- Make sure you have safe moves in it, and not dangerous ones that someone on your squad can't do and would get hurt doing.
Warnings
- Once again, don't make it too offensive or racist.
- Make sure no one will get hurt doing it.
- Don't use any bad words.
