Make Cottage Cheese Good

Cottage cheese isn't always appetizing to many people (especially kids). Tired of just plain cottage cheese? Well, here are some healthy, delicious recipes to jazz it up some. (Kid approved).

Steps

  1. Eat cottage cheese with fruit. Almost any kind of fruit goes great with cottage cheese. A few great suggestions are canned pineapple, peaches, and berries. Tropical and fresh fruit are the best.
  2. Make it with cinnamon toast. The following recipe was created by a doctor: place cottage cheese over white, honey wheat bread, and sprinkle a little cinnamon & sugar on top. Place it in the broiler/oven until hot. This goes great with a glass of milk.
  3. Make the cottage cheese into a dip. You can use it for any kind of food you please. Take some cottage cheese and toss in your favorite herbs and lemon juice for a great veggie dip!
  4. Again, there is so much you can do with cottage cheese! It's healthy, so experiment and see what you can make! It's totally guilt free!
