Broiler/Topside Grill Garlic Toast
- [Preheat the broiler (grill), if needed.
- Butter the bread.
- Sprinkle the bread with a light dusting of garlic salt.
- Broil (topside grill) until golden.
- Serve hot.
Toaster Garlic Toast
- Make some toast. Toast till it is crispy.
- Butter the toast. Use as much butter as you like.
- Put the buttered toast back in the toaster for a short amount of time. Warm just to melt the butter. If done quickly, you won't get butter in your toaster. Handle with care.
- Lightly sprinkle garlic salt onto the piece(s) of toast.
- Finished.
Potent Garlicky Buttered Toast
- Cut the bread into neat squares. This means removing the crusts. You don't have to, but it's a neat way to make this toast.
- Spread the melted butter onto the bread squares.
- Put the bread into a toaster oven.
- Grind the fresh garlic clove into a paste. Use a mortar and pestle or a food processor.
- Spread the garlic paste on the toasted bread squares.
- Put the bread squares back into the oven to toast briefly.
- Remove. Eat and enjoy the potent garlicky bread!
Tips
- For method 1: If in a real hurry, toast the bread in the toaster and then spread with butter. Season lightly with garlic salt.
