This is a great tea for sore throats and even better for ginger lovers. It's very flavorful and easy! It takes about 5-20 minutes to make.
Ingredients
- Ginger root, about {{safesubst:#invoke:convert|convert}} long
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cups orange juice
- 2 tablespoons honey
Steps
- Peel and slice the ginger root into small pieces. Put them in a pot with 2 cups of water and just barely boil.
- Fish the ginger pieces out of the water or leave them in.
- Add orange juice. Stir.
- Add lemon juice. Stir
- Add honey, bit by bit. Stir well, as you want your honey to mix in well.
- Serve!
Tips
- Try it cold.
- Your tea should be a nice orange/yellow/gold color.
- To see if you stirred the honey up well enough, take a spoon and scoop tea at the bottom and look at it. If the honey isn't mixed up it'll be down at the bottom.
Warnings
- Make this on hot counter. Tea can be warm.
