Make Ice Cream in a Blender with Milk

It is possible to make ice cream in a blender using milk. This is another way of making ice cream. You can also mix in some other flavourings too! Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cups ice cubes (consider crushed ice)
  • 4 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Steps

  1. Crush the ice, then put in all the other ingredients.
  2. Put the mixture in the freezer and wait at least 2 to 3 hours, or at until your liking.
  3. Finished. At this stage, your ice cream should be thick, smooth and ready to serve.

Tips

  • This mixture can be a bit thick and it can get stuck, so you may add extra milk if needed while blending.
  • Blending ingredients first, then slowly adding ice cubes one at a time keeps the blender from jamming up with ice.
  • Try adding different fruit to make different flavors.
  • Make sure not to open the lid until at least minimum time has been reached, or else it may not freeze right.
  • If you want to add chocolate chips, be sure to do it after blending. Otherwise, the blender will make mud of your mixture. [citation needed]
  • Be sure to blend extra well and to expect to wait longer than usual if you are using fresh fruit.
  • To clear a brain freeze, squeeze your nose very tightly, press your thumb on the roof of your mouth, or drink milk. [citation needed]
  • Ensure the lid is correctly on the blender or the ice cream will spill out while blending.
