- Finished. At this stage, your ice cream should be thick, smooth and ready to serve.
Tips

- Blending ingredients first, then slowly adding ice cubes one at a time keeps the blender from jamming up with ice.
- Try adding different fruit to make different flavors.
- Make sure not to open the lid until at least minimum time has been reached, or else it may not freeze right.
- If you want to add chocolate chips, be sure to do it after blending. Otherwise, the blender will make mud of your mixture. [citation needed]
- Be sure to blend extra well and to expect to wait longer than usual if you are using fresh fruit.
- To clear a brain freeze, squeeze your nose very tightly, press your thumb on the roof of your mouth, or drink milk. [citation needed]
- Ensure the lid is correctly on the blender or the ice cream will spill out while blending.
