Make Lemon Scented Window Cleaner


This window cleaner not only cleans brilliantly, it also contains the added zest of refreshing lemon to make the task of window washing a little more enjoyable. Or you could just make the kids do it instead...

Steps

  1. Assemble ingredients.
  2. Mix in warm water.
  3. Grab favorite sponge, washcloth or even newspaper and head to the windows.

Tips

  • Wear gloves when washing to protect your hands from grime, wetness and anything icky.

Warnings

  • Lemon oil contains photosensitizing agents (these increase skin sensitivity to the sun). Do not get oil directly onto your hands when making the window cleaner; if you do spill it on your skin, cover that area from sunlight before going outdoors to avoid any possible skin burn.
  • When using essential oils according to the instructions, they are non-toxic. Pregnant women should seek advice from their doctor or herbalist before using.
