Make Organic Homemade Kajal

If you are a person who keeps getting allergic reaction because of using store bought Kajal then you must try homemade Kajal. Homemade Kajal doesn't have a expiry date and you just need few things to make lots of Kajal which is going to save you lot of money.

Steps

  1. Place the burning diya with castor oil in between two bowls and a plate over it as shown in the picture below
  2. Wait for about 20 minutes and life up the plate .Be careful of the plate as it will be really hot.Use a cloth or a tong to pick it up.You will find soot is collected at the bottom of the plate which looks like this.
  3. Scrap out the suit with a blunt knife or from the back side of the spoon.Take it out in a dry container and add few drops of ghee(butter) in it.It will form a black paste.You can store it in a steel box.

Tips

  • You can use your finger or your eyeliner brush for which you use gel eyeliner to apply the kajal.
  • If you Kajal smudges then put the kajal under sunlight and dry the extra ghee.
  • Do not add lot of ghee in the soot.You need just the right amount ghee to make the kajal.Less ghee will make it too dry and more ghee will make the kajal smudgel
  • You have to mix the kajal with ghee with your index finger which will give you black finger and that will take at least two days to get off.So this is kind of a warning before you do this
