Make Plastic Guitar Picks

If you play the guitar, now you've got a nifty way to recycle all of those old ID cards and fake credit cards you get in the mail.

Steps

Find a source of plastic that you desire to recycle into a useful object.
Using a permanent marker, trace the outline of an existing guitar pick onto the plastic.
Using quality scissors or a sharp hobby knife. Cut out the shape of the desired guitar pick.
Using an emery board or a small scrap of fine sandpaper, smooth the edges of the pick.

You don't have to have a guitar pick to trace around with. You can print out an outline of a guitar pick, cut it out, trace it onto the plastic and simply cut out!
If you like to play fast, try narrowing the tip. It does wonders for your picking speed.
Look around online at the different shapes and styles of guitar picks, as they are preference and you may be inspired as to what design you'll love to make!
