Make Someone Stop Emailing You

Okay, so let's say you get on your email. That guy emailed you. For the eighth time this week.Okay Okay, so he's sort of annoying. You delete the email again. Well, it's time to get him to stop.

Steps

  1. Mark the emails as spam. Select the email then find the "Mark as Spam" button.
    • Once they email you, just say, "Hey, I don't check my email, I'm not trying to be rude, but could you stop emailing me?" It is rude, but they will stop emailing you.
    • If they continue to email you, change email providers and don't tell them.

Creating a Gmail Filter

  1. Click on the Settings icon.
  2. Click on Settings.
  3. Click Filters.
  4. Click Create New Filter.
  5. Enter the email address of the person you want to block, then click "Create filter with this search".
  6. Check the boxes for "Delete It." Save the filter, and you are done!

Tips

  • Get Yahoo!, Hotmail, or Gmail if you want good spam control.
  • If you change email, tell people about your new email, but don't tell that one person.
  • If you want to tell him face to face to stop emailing you, be gentle and don't be rude.

Warnings

  • Telling somebody to stop emailing you could make them angry!
