Make Waterless Hand Sanitizer

Steps
- Begin with 1 cup of aloe vera gel (a concentration from one of the oldest medicinal plants known). Add a teaspoon of rubbing alcohol.
- Mix in 2 teaspoons of vegetable glycerin.
- Add about 9 drops of tea tree essential oil.
Non-glycerin method
- Pour the aloe vera and isopropyl alcohol into the bowl. Use the spoon to mix them together until they are well blended
- Add 8 to 10 drops of essential oil in the bowl. (Optional.)
- Mix the essential oil in with the aloe vera and isopropyl alcohol together very well. (If you do the optional step.)
- If you do use essential oils, use a fragrance that you think smells good.
- Pour the finished hand sanitizer into the empty container.
- Seal the container shut. This contains 65% alcohol.
Tips
- You can use a number of different oils to create unique fragrances as well as provide different antibacterial advantages.
- You could add a different scent to the first method if you wish.
Warnings
- Avoid using too much, as this will take longer to absorb into your skin than commercially available hand sanitizer.
- Keep this away from young children and pets.

- 2/3 cup Isopropyl alcohol 91%
- 1/3 cup aloe vera gel
