Use Hand Sanitizer
Using hand sanitizer is good, but it's best when you really know how to use it properly. Here are some easy steps to follow to make sure that you do it correctly.

Steps
- Squirt the hand sanitizer into the palm of your hand. It should be about the size of a U.S. quarter.
- Start rubbing your hands together gently. Be sure to get every spot and not miss any part. Get in between fingers, under rings and under jewelry. Rub hand sanitizer thoroughly on hands and about two inches up your wrist. Hold hands downward to avoid contamination on the upper part of your arms.
- Finish. Don't dry your hands on a towel; it will be better to let them air dry.
Tips
- When you finish, your hands may still have hand sanitizer on them. This is good, though you should let the rest of it air-dry.
Warnings
- Hand sanitizers kill an extraordinary amount of germs. While it can be helpful to use, you should occasionally limit your use. Through repeated use, you may be weakening your immune system by limiting your exposure to common germs.
- Due to the alcohol content, hand sanitizer may sting cuts. This pain is uncomfortable, but only temporary.
