Make a Deep Fried Snickers Bar

- Cooking oil
- Snickers bars
- Pancake mix
- Powdered sugar
Steps
- To prevent the Snickers bars from melting, chill the in the freezer for four hours.
- In a good sized pot, prepare about {{safesubst:#invoke:convert|convert}} of cooking oil on medium-high heat until hot.
- Prepare the pancake mix in a medium sized bowl according to the directions on the box.
- Unwrap the Snickers bars and submerge them in the prepared batter. Make sure they are evenly coated.
- Using tongs, carefully drop 2-3 Snickers bars at a time (depending on how many you're making) into the hot oil and deep fry until golden brown.
- Remove the deep fried bars using the tongs and place them on a paper towel-covered plate to drain excess oil.
- Wait for them to cool about 5 minutes.
- Remove paper towels and place them back on the plate.
- Dust a generous amount of powdered sugar onto the bars.
- Enjoy!
Tips
- Try dipping them in melted peanut butter.
- Make a banana split! Instead of using bananas, substitute them with the fried Snickers bars.
