Make a Giant Cookie

Do you want to triple up your normal-sized cookie? A giant cookie might just be for you. Whether you're making it for a big group of people, for a party or celebration, or a dessert to devour with the family; Giant cookies are delicious to eat and quick to prepare and bake.

Ingredients

Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie [1]

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup white sugar
  • ¾ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 2¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Giant Sugar Cookie [2]

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened at room temperature
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons beaten egg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 2 tablespoons sprinkles (optional)

Giant Peanut Butter Cookie [3]

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

Giant Oatmeal Cookie [4]

  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup rolled oats
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • ⅓ cup softened butter
  • ⅓ cup white sugar
  • ⅓ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Giant Vegan Cookie [5]

  • 2 teaspoon milled flax seed + 2 tablespoons water
  • ¼ cup gluten-free quick oats, ground
  • ½ tablespoons coconut flour
  • ⅛ teaspoon baking soda
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons natural nut or seed butter
  • 2 tablespoons coconut sugar or brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil, softened
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 heaping tablespoon dairy-free semi-sweet chocolate chips

Steps

Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
  2. Grease a 14 inch round pizza pan.
  3. Cream the butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Beat for about 2 minutes.
  4. Crack in the eggs and blend until fully combined.
  5. Stir in the dry ingredients. Pour in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Blend slowly until properly combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and mix well.
  7. Flatten and spread the cookie dough on the pizza pan.
  8. Bake the cookie in the oven for about 20-25 minutes.
  9. Allow the cookie to cool for about 10 minutes.
  10. Serve. Slice the cookie into pieces. Top with vanilla ice cream, if desired. Enjoy!

Giant Sugar Cookie

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius).
  2. Grease a cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Cream the butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Beat for about 2 minutes.
  4. Fold in the cream of tarter, flour, baking soda, salt and sprinkles. Blend until properly combined, but do not over-mix.
  5. Flatten and spread the cookie dough on the cookie sheet.
  6. Bake the cookie in the oven for about 14-16 minutes.
  7. Allow the cookie to cool for about 10 minutes.
  8. Serve. Slice the cookie into pieces. Top with whipped cream, if desired. Enjoy!

  4. Add the peanut butter and stir in the dry ingredients. Pour in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Blend slowly until properly combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and Reese's Pieces.

Giant Vegan Cookie

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius).
  2. Grease a cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Stir the flax seed and water together in a small bowl. Allow it to sit until the gel forms, taking about 5 minutes.
  4. Grind the oats, coconut flour, baking soda, and salt. Grind them together in a blender until well-combined.
  5. In a medium-sized bowl, blend the seed or nut butter with the coconut sugar and coconut oil. Mix on low speed using an electric mixer.
  6. Stir in the flax mixture and vanilla into the blended coconut mixture. Whisk until properly combined.
  7. Fold in the dry ingredients mixture and add the chocolate chips. Blend well until fully mixed.
  8. Flatten and spread the cookie dough on the cookie sheet.
  9. Bake the cookie in the oven for about 12-15 minutes.
  10. Allow the cookie to cool for about 10 minutes.

Tips

  • Consider adding a cup of walnuts into the cookie dough mixture if desired for a crunchier taste.
  • The center of the giant cookie might be slightly raw after being baked. This is normal and once it's cooled the cookie will start to firm up.
  • Feel free to vary the giant cookie recipe by adding some twists such as adding raisins, using different types of chocolate chips, etc.
  • For the vegan cookie, you can replace the flax seed with chia seeds.
