For the Classic Hippie Costume

  1. Tie dye a plain white shirt Yellow, red, blue, and white.
  2. Buy some bell bottom pants which you can make out of an old pair of jeans.
  3. Get a tie dye Bandanna or make one.
  4. Paint peace signs on your cheeks.
  5. Wear some white tennis shoes.
  6. Wear a big peace sign necklace
  7. Buy the small round sunglasses.
  8. Wear your hair straight and a middle parting.

For the New Teen Age Hippie Costume

  1. Tie dye a plain white shirt Yellow, red, blue, and white
  2. Tie a knot in the back of the shirt.
  3. Wear some plain boot cut or flare jeans. NEVER SKINNY JEANS!
  4. Wear moccasins.
  5. Wear a Peace Sign necklace.
  6. Paint peace signs on your face.
  7. Wear a tie dye bandanna, with a part in your hair straight down the middle.
