Make a Homemade Phone or iPod Holder
These home-made phone or iPod holders make great presents for friends or family, or for yourself. They are quick and easy to make, and they will keep its contents safe!
Steps
- Gather the things you'll need: felt, sewing needle, thread, clasp, decorations.
- Fold the felt over the phone or iPod width-ways so that there's an inch left on each side, and on the top. Sew two of the three sides that are open with the needle and thread. You can use a sewing machine if you want.
- Turn the holder inside out. This is your case. Split the clasp open and sew them on to each side of the inside of the holder. Sew them on tightly.
- Sew on your decorations on to the front of the holder and put your phone or iPod inside. Close the clasp and if you want to you can attach a wrist strap to carry it by or attach to a belt with.
- Surprise someone with it!
Tips
- Sew buttons on the front of it, or sequins. You can also embroider it, but it's best to do this before you sew the felt in half because it's easier.
Warnings
- Be careful with the needle! Don't stick yourself by accident or anyone else on purpose(no matter how tempted you are)!
- Be careful opening the clasp or it might fall off.
- Don't get it wet or it might fall apart!
