Make a House in Minecraft Pocket Edition Lite

Minecraft is now available on the App Store. Since the Paid version is a little expensive, maybe you have just downloaded the Lite version. You want to build a house with the limited blocks available. Then this article will help you out.

Steps

Creative Mode

  1. Open the app and choose the creative mode. The creative mode is perfect for beginners and a preparation for the Survival mode. You can also choose this if you don't want to face mobs. You can also fly in the creative mode.
  2. Find a good place to build a house. Make sure this has enough space. It is your choice whether it will be in the top of the mountains, underwater, in the sky, on a mine or just low on the ground. If you can't find any, you can just go to the main menu and click on creative mode again. You can repeat it until you find a perfect place to build a house.
  3. Start building. Now you have found a perfect place, you can now start building. It is your world so you can do whatever you want.
    • You can use wool, bricks or a wood to build some walls of your house. You decide the length of the width of it. Be creative. You can also build the 2nd floor if you want.
    • Add torches to add light to the house.
    • Stairs are a good way to go to the next floors of the house.
    • Place some doors to entering rooms. This also organizes your house.
    • Place some windows to have a perfect view of the world outside your house. You can do this by placing glass.

Survival Mode

  1. Open the app and choose survival mode. This is the perfect mode if you want to challenge yourself, and fight mobs. There is now hearts that you can see at the bottom of your screen. The heart represents your life. They can decrease if you get hit by mobs, stay for a long time underwater, and hit the ground hard. If you lose all your hearts, then you will spawn on your spawn point. The place where you have spawn after clicking the survival mode is your spawn point. You will also need to collect some of your items but some are now available. You can just use the available ones in the building.
  2. Build a small base first. Since it's your first day, you don't have a base first so you have to build one. This should be not too big and not too small. Make sure you have finished this before night comes. You might also want to place a door so mobs can't go in.
  3. Upgrade your house. Since another day has passed you want to upgrade and make it bigger.

Tips

  • Choose the right weapons in destroying blocks in Survival mode. You will now if you choose the right one if you destroyed the block faster. This will save time.
  • In survival mode, you can build a house in your spawn point, so if you died, you would spawn inside your house.
  • Multiplayer is optional. If you want to get a job done faster, then invite a friend. Two heads are better than one.
  • The pick ax is good for concrete and brick in Creative mode.

Warnings

  • Since this is just the lite version you can't save worlds.
