Make a Lighter Shoot a Huge Flame
Ever need a bigger flame from your lighter? This article will teach you how to make one that can get as big, or bigger than {{safesubst:#invoke:convert|convert}}!
Steps
- Pull the little metal cover off with your thumbnail or other prying thing. Start next to the rollers and loosen it first. Be careful.
- Ensure the tab is in the correct place. The tab used to adjust the normal flame should now be moved to the plus side.
- Grab the tab with your fingers, or vice grips. Lift it up off the "gears" and move it to the minus side.
- Put it down and move it over to the plus side.
- Test the size of the flame, repeat 3-4.
Alternate Method
- Get a cheap lighter from a local store.
- Bend the metal cover off where the gas adjustment thing is
- If you turn the gas up by going right turn it up full.
- Then lift the toggle thing up so it is no longer connected to the cog and move it as far to the left as possible, be careful not to turn the cog back with it.
- Then push it back down onto the cog and push it to the right
- Be careful.
Tips
- This won't work with a Bic lighter
Warnings
- Lighters burn, so keep away from gasoline. Lighter may also catch fire if this is done too many times so keep away from face.
