Make a Non Alcoholic Mojito

If you are underage or do not drink alcohol, but still want to join in the fun, this article for you. With its sharp yet sweet minty taste, this fruity Cuban drink will have you up and dancing in no time.

Ingredients

  • Mint leaves.
  • soda water
  • Lime juice
  • Sugar
  • Ice cubes

Steps

  1. Bruise the limes by bashing them on a table and then set them aside.
  2. Wet the top of the the glass in some lime juice and dip into sugar to create a 'frosted' look.
  3. Muddle 2 of the mint leaves, some sugar and a dash of lime juice in the bottom of your glass.
  4. Fill the glass up with as much ice as you can fit in it, and top right up with club soda or Sprite as shown in the picture..
  5. Add 1 tsp lemon juice and stir. This step is optional.
  6. Garnish the top with another mint leaf.
  7. Enjoy!



Tips

  • Make the ice cubes out of lime juice for an extra lime kick.
  • You could use lemonade instead of club soda for an even more exotic twist.
  • Use a tall glass for more yummy goodness.
  • Have a load of these refreshing drinks ready at the door for when your guests arrive. Present them on entering for a cocktail party feel.
  • Dye the sugar green with edible food coloring.

Warnings

  • Do NOT add too much sugar or the drink will be too sweet.
  • DO NOT add a lot of lime orbit will be too sour.
