Making your own paper doll with its own fashion line and friends is something for people who love fashion design. This is a fun project that anyone can do.

Making a Paper Doll with Clothes

1. Get a piece of paper. Then draw a person. No features such as eyes or hair yet... but make sure to have room for shoulder-length hair. Cut between the shoulder and the hair to make a spot to insert tabs (more about tabs later).
2. Draw in the features. Do the hair first: bangs, no bangs, make the hair any length you want that is shorter than shoulder length. Then draw in the eyes, mouth, nose, even makeup if you want.
3. Draw a skin-tight bathing suit. I suggest a bikini. Any color. Do skin too.
4. Then color. Any color works best. You can do streaks in the hair, too.
5. After that, write the doll's name on the back.
6. Once that's done, you can make more. But first, make a wardrobe for your doll.
7. Trace your doll against a window. Well, trace the shape you want the outfit to be in.
8. Before you cut the outfit out, draw little strips of paper on the top of it where the shoulders go. Those are tabs.
9. Now you can cut it out. Cut carefully. If it's all a bit frustrating at first, just keep going, you'll figure it out.
10.  Then keep it all in an empty candy box. Something small like that.
11. The last thing is to have fun with your paper dolls. Enjoy!
