Make a Potato Face Mask
A potato face mask is good for your skin and helps relieve a bad sunburn. But be warned--this could get a little messy! This is how.
Ingredients
- 1 small to medium-sized potato
- 1-1 1/2 cups of flour
- 1 egg yolk
Steps
- Grate the potato. Or, you can chop it into small pieces. This will restore your skin's natural oil. After that, put the grated/chopped potato into a medium sized bowl.
- Mix in the flour. Use a big metal spoon. Stir until well-mixed, but still lumpy.
- Put in the egg yolk. Stir with the same metal spoon until creamy but still a little lumpy.
- Spread a towel on the pillow. That will prevent the mixture from ruining the bed.
- Smear the mixture on your face. Try not to touch it with your fingers. Then wait for about 20 minutes.
- Wash it off. Go to the bathroom and wash it all off. Your skin should thank you!
Tips
- Make sure that there isn't any egg white accidentally put into the mask. If there is, it will not work!
Warnings
- Try not to get it in your hair. It's really hard to take out once it dries.
- Don't take it off too fast. It won't work as well.
- Don't do this while company is here. It will freak them out.
