Make a Potato Face Mask

A potato face mask is good for your skin and helps relieve a bad sunburn. But be warned--this could get a little messy! This is how.

Ingredients

  • 1 small to medium-sized potato
  • 1-1 1/2 cups of flour
  • 1 egg yolk

Steps

  1. Grate the potato. Or, you can chop it into small pieces. This will restore your skin's natural oil. After that, put the grated/chopped potato into a medium sized bowl.
  2. Mix in the flour. Use a big metal spoon. Stir until well-mixed, but still lumpy.
  3. Put in the egg yolk. Stir with the same metal spoon until creamy but still a little lumpy.
  4. Spread a towel on the pillow. That will prevent the mixture from ruining the bed.
  5. Smear the mixture on your face. Try not to touch it with your fingers. Then wait for about 20 minutes.
  6. Wash it off. Go to the bathroom and wash it all off. Your skin should thank you!

Tips

  • Make sure that there isn't any egg white accidentally put into the mask. If there is, it will not work!

Warnings

  • Try not to get it in your hair. It's really hard to take out once it dries.
  • Don't take it off too fast. It won't work as well.
  • Don't do this while company is here. It will freak them out.
