Make a Snow Angel
Snow angels are a classic pastime on snowy days. They are also really fun to create and see.
Steps
- Choose a patch of snow that is large enough for you to lay down on and is clear of debris and flaws.
- Carefully lie down on your back in the snow, with your arms and legs outstretched. Make sure to make an imprint with all parts of your body, especially your head.
- Stretch your arms out, laying them on the snow. Move your arms back and forth across the snow, keeping them straight. As you are doing this, move your legs in and out. Basically, you are doing jumping jacks while lying down. Make sure you do not make your arms go all the way up to your head, you want your arms at a right angle.
- Carefully get up (messing up the snow angel as little as possible), stand back, and admire your beautiful snow angel!
- Take a photo.
Tips
- Have a friend help you get up so you don't destroy the snow angel.
- If you lie face down, your beautiful smile will be moulded into the snow, but be careful, you may not be able to receive air this way.
Warnings
- Make sure you are wearing warm clothing. You can get very cold making a snow angel.
- It might be fun falling into the snow, but remember that the ground under the snow might be hard, and you don't know what could be under there either! It's better to lie down instead.
- You may get snow all over your clothes. But remember, all of it is water.
