Make an Iced Green Tea Latte
Matcha is a high quality, fine powdered Japanese tea. Aside from creating a traditional hot tea drink, it is also commonly found in cakes, mochi, and puddings. This simple green tea drink can be soothing after a long day. Here is how to make an iced green tea latte.
Makes 1 serving.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup (180 mL) low-fat milk
- 1 teaspoon matcha stone ground green tea powder
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 tablespoons vanilla flavored liquid Freeze Liquid Coffee Creamer
- Ice cubes
Steps
- Mix the green tea powder and water in a cocktail shaker. Stir completely until the powder has dissolved.
- Add ice cubes to the cocktail shaker until it's halfway full.
- Measure and pour the milk and coffee creamer in.
- Place the lid on top of the shaker. Shake well, just like a regular cocktail. You'll know when it's fully blended when there's condensation forming on the outside.
- Attach a strainer to the cocktail shaker. Strain the contents in a glass pre-filled with ice cubes.
