Make the Stunt King Paper Airplane
This plane will perform amazing loops, corkscrews, and all kinds of stunts, while getting lots of distance, and still flying .
Steps
- Start with a rectangular piece of paper.
- Fold the upper-right hand corner of the paper to the almost bottom left hand corner.
- Fold the left corner of the paper to the bottom right corner (you can see the crease made in a previous step).
- Fold the plane in half.
- Unfold all the creases until you see creases on your paper that look like this.
- Push in the corners.
- After pushing in the corners, it should look like this.
- Fold the loose corners of the base to the top.
- Fold the top corner of the base, until you get something like you see in the picture.
- Turn over the plane.
- Fold it in half. Make sure the edges line up.
- Fold down the wings.
- Check the dihedral, fold the up elevators, and turn around the plane and you'll have completed the Stunt King.
Tips
- When throwing the plane, throw it hard outdoors, but more moderately indoors.
- While the plane is flying, make sure that it glides and falls at the same time so the plane will fly better.
Warnings
- Do not use line paper, graph paper, or any paper with holes in them.
- Do not use construction paper either because your plane will easily fall to the ground if you do so.
- Line up the edges of the planes when putting the finishing touches on your paper airplane, because uneven wings spell disaster when testing it out.
- Never make sloppy folds. Good folding means good flying.
Things You'll Need
