Mod a Nerf Recon CS 6

Are you unhappy with the power of your new Nerf Recon? If so, this article will give you an easy mod that you can do on your gun to make it more powerful without having to drastically change anything.

Steps

  1. Unscrew ALL of the screws on the dart gun and make sure not to lose them.
  2. Slide the back black piece of the gun out. The spring should fly out or become exposed. Take one half of the gun off. If it refuses, you probably missed a screw or two. See step one.
  3. Look inside the barrel, and drill a hole through the wall.
  4. Seal the small hole on the side of the barrel.
  5. You will see a spring on the armed bar near the back of the gun. Take this off.
  6. Stretch this spring until it is longer than it was.
  7. Put the spring back on the armed bar.
  8. Put all of the pieces and parts in the correct places.
  9. Put the halves back together, making sure the spring is in the gun.
  10. Screw the halves back together.
  11. If you have done an Obby 7711 style barrel extension, get a rubber pipe reducer (the all purpose kind) and put it on the end. this makes it look like an anti-material/ Sniper rifle.



Tips

  • Make sure everything is in the proper place when you screw the gun back together.
  • Before screwing the halves together, take a short dry-fire. If something doesn't work, take it apart and fix the problem.

Warnings

  • If something isn't in the right place, the gun won't fire! Be cautious.

Things You'll Need

  • A screwdriver, and something to make a hole in the barrel cleanly
  • A box or bag to hold the screws
  • One Recon CS-6 (any)
