Put up your Hair in a Pompadour

Have you ever wanted to wear your hair up for school, but had no idea how to make it look good? Here are some tips on how to do it right.

Steps

At about {{safesubst:#invoke:convert|convert}} away from the top of your forehead, take your brush and brush back.
Gather some of the hair you smoothed back (about 2 inches across), and brush that section of hair to make it smooth.
Twist the end of the piece of hair you have in your hands, then push the hair forward a little and clip into place. (You may have seen this type of look on movie stars).
Take a strip of hair in the front (about 1/2 inch across) and set it in the front of your face.
Gather the rest of your hair and (using the hair tie) pull into a relaxed ponytail.
Brush the front section and set to the side of your face.

Make sure your hair is smooth and there are no lumps on top.
It works best if your hair is clean, dry, and already brushed out.
It does NOT work best on clean hair. Make sure your hair hasn't been washed for at least a day. You will get better results....
If you have bangs, then don't have the piece of hair in the front.
